1983

Keg River’s founder imports “pastille” technology from Europe.

1998

Keg River Chemical Corp. is founded. Production of elemental sulfur fertilizer begins at the company’s plant in Edmonton, AB. Keg River Nutrasul 90 is the first fertilizer produced.

1998

Keg River releases the industry’s first 15% bentonite clay product (0-0-0-85), increasing the clay content by 50% to improve degradability and pastille quality. Sold as Keg River Supreme 85.

2011-2014

A new sulfur plant is built. Onsite rail siding is upgraded. A state-of-the-art covered bulk loading facility is added.

2020

A dedicated organic product production facility is introduced.

2020

Keg River rebrands its product line. Nutrasul 90 becomes Keg90S™. Supreme 85 becomes Keg85S™. Blended AMS products are marketed as Keg60S+ and Keg50S+.
